Web Design & Development in Verwood
I build fast, straightforward websites for small businesses in Verwood and the surrounding area — the kind that explain what you do, look the part, and make it easy for customers to get in touch.

// Local, not corporate
A website that works as hard as you do
Most people looking for a plumber, a builder, a salon, or a professional service in Verwood will check you out online before they call. If your website is slow, confusing, or simply out of date, that first impression is costing you work.
You deal directly with me from the first conversation to launch — no account managers, no hand-offs, no agency overhead. Just a clear process and a site built for your business.

// How I help
Practical help, from start to finish
Whether you are starting from scratch or trying to get more from the site you already have, the goal is the same: a website that is useful to your customers and valuable to your business.
New websites that win work
A clear, professional site built around what your customers actually need to know — what you do, who it is for, and how to get in touch. Designed for real enquiries, not just to look nice in a portfolio.
Redesigns & rescues
If your current site feels dated, is awkward on a phone, or is not bringing in the work it should, I can modernise it or fix the parts that are holding it back — without throwing away what already works.
Get found locally
Fast pages, sensible structure, and the on-page basics that help you show up when someone searches for your service in Verwood or the surrounding area. No vague SEO promises — just the groundwork done properly.
Ongoing care & support
Websites need looking after. I offer updates, fixes, backups, and straightforward technical help after launch — and where it makes sense, a content management system you can update yourself.
// Recent work
Built for real businesses
A few recent projects for independent businesses — from simple, focused sites to redesigns with a CMS behind them.

Web Design, Development & CMS
LP Brickwork
A modern, welcoming redesign that finally does justice to the quality of the brickwork itself — built to help potential customers trust the business at a glance, with an easy-to-manage CMS behind the scenes for adding new projects as they are completed.

Web Design, Development & CMS
Forest of Dean Van Man
A no-nonsense site built for a trade business where customers just want two things fast: what is on offer, and how to get in touch. Built on a simple CMS so Martin can update details himself without needing to call a developer every time something changes.

Web Development
TheOpRiskCompany
Added bespoke contact, event registration, and gated-download forms to an existing site design, then handled the full technical launch — bringing the new site live smoothly with a complete DNS migration.
"Tom built a website for me and I'm over the moon with it. If, like me, you don't know much about websites and need help from start to finish, I highly recommend Tom."

// How it works
Simple, start to launch
No jargon and no surprises — just a straightforward process with you involved at each stage.
Talk it through
We start with a conversation about your business, your customers, and what you need the website to do. I will ask the questions that shape a proper brief.
Design & build
I design and develop the site, keeping you updated as it comes together. You will see the work in progress and can feed back before anything is finalised.
Launch & support
I handle the technical launch, check the site on real devices, and make sure everything works. After that, I am still around for updates and advice.
// Common questions
Good to know
Still unsure about something? Ask away — there is no pressure and no obligation.
Ask a questionDo you only work with businesses in Verwood?
No — I am based in Dorset and work with small businesses & charities across Verwood, Ferndown, Wimborne, Ringwood, and the surrounding villages, as well as further afield. Most of the process works well remotely, and I am happy to meet locally where that is useful.
How much does a new website cost?
Every project is quoted individually because the scope varies so much. After a short conversation about what you need, I will give you a clear price before any work starts, so there are no surprises along the way.
Can you improve my existing website instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. Sometimes a focused fix is all that is needed — better mobile layout, faster loading, clearer messaging, or a simpler enquiry process. I will look at what you have and tell you honestly whether improving it or starting again is the better use of your budget.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Where it makes sense, yes. I can build with a content management system so you can add services, photos, or news without touching code. If you would rather leave updates to me, that is fine too.
What happens after the site goes live?
Launch is not the end of the job. I can stay involved with updates, fixes, and advice as your business changes, and we can agree an ongoing support arrangement if you want one. There is no obligation to sign up to anything.
